I like this bike. It's nice to see an electric bike that is very similar to a regular bicycle instead of a bulky wide tired full electric version. Oh my, the work of getting that paper off would have been a nightmare! Bravo Steve and Sara!

We have e-bikes and love them,the one you have seems really nice but we noticed there is a scrapping sound when you pedal, which you might look into because they normally don’t have any sound what so ever. Maybe the brake pads might need re alignment 😮

Loads of fun and loads of work! Great that you can mix it up! I’ll be watching the Tour Down Under pass through a local village just down the road from my house in January next here in South Australia. It comes my way every year even if the route slightly varies. We have a long slow climbing hill on the way down here which is a feature climb each year. It then passes through our local wine growing region and ends at the sea front near my home. Good luck with the wallpapering and painting. It will be well worth the effort. I’ll cheer you on from the sidelines! ♥️

It must be bike give away month! Abby from Chateau de Borie, also had an e-bike delivery. Unfortunately, Heybike the manufacturer, doesn't deliver to France, so she was only able to receive her delivery to Seattle. It was a lovely vintage looking bike. Oh that wallpaper is going to look so lovely, I do not envy you the work though, that looks back breaking. Vincent is such a lovely man and Little Greene appears to be a wonderful company to deal with. I wish you could get them in Australia, but from my investigations you certainly can't get them in Tasmania!!

we have an 1876 home. We had 5 to 6 layers of wall paper to take off. Hot water in a spray bottle seamed to work really well. Then we scraped it off with a plaster spatula.

I’ve had a couple of electric bikes which I love. Word of warning, anyone who rides one must be able to place their foot flat on the ground when sitting on the seat. Also don’t make sharp turns.

This is so lovely. I am not upset the purple is going away. I will be very upset if or when the red velvet wallpaper in the entrance hall goes, I reallllllllyyyyyyyy want it to stay. It is your chateau and I am just a viewer. So I enjoy when ever I get to see the wallpaper in the background and that makes me happy, for now.
