At this point, I don't think Eric would let that happen. After his interview in 2021 with Erik Lorenz on Unfolding Maps, I genuinely believe he'll retire when he gets the slightest inkling that his voice is giving out for good. He strikes me as the type who prides himself on the sound, and he'd sooner give up than play bad shows on the regular
