The lyrics of The Power Of Thy Sword were written by Conan The Cimmerian... 🤫 You can feel the glory and majesty on that track, Robert E. Howard's legacy lives in this album. The zenith of Manowar. Rhino simply plods with that double bass! Burning is a clear example of Eric's uncanny and wonderful vocal range and prowess, it's not and never was just about the screams, that low register and the emotion that he puts in a song that reeks and tastes of Sabbath is something special. BTW, I recommend you to listen to Master of The Universe by Hawkwind, the Space Ritual live version from 1973, Lemmy's former band before Motorhead. One of the proto-metal riffs that defined heavy metal. You'll be surprised and totally headbanging to the riff!
