This is a beautiful duet from an Indian film titled "Girl Friend" (1960) in India with Waheeda Rehman, Kishore Kumar and directed by Satyen Bose. Kishor Kumar being a playback singer himself sung along with Sudha Malhotra the one on this recording. Please also listen to the duet version as it is wonderful also. I wish we had more playback song recordings of Sudha Malhotra, who after many years gave her solo rendition. Thank you.

Nice lyrics nd beautiful voice. Again I am reminded of the fact that Lata ji never ever encouraged any talented singer. I failed to understand why Lata ji did all this ... They would have Nt harmed lata ji anyway becoz Lata ji could have been surpassed by anyone .. She is Godess of Sur bur as a human being questions do arise..... Sorry Indian music has been deprived of many talented artists like Suman, Sudha nd many more.
