My next door neighbor bought his house two years ago. He then gutted it and completed rehabbed the house into what he thought it should be. (It was a 'builder's house' that is, it was the builder's home who constructed all the houses in our neighborhood, so it was in excellent shape with a lot of extras.) He told my husband and I that he put an additional $140K into the re-hab. Must be nice to have $$$$.

I own a two story DUMP in San Antonio's West side, valued by the bank at $173,000+ I couldn't sell it for $20,000 because of the Mexican Mafia down the street and yes I've tried, that was the high bid by a house 'remodeler.'.

What a shame! No one in the area can't afford a loan for $150,000.00 dollars in that area?. Gee if that mansion was in Omaha Ne you would pay have a price of over $150,000.00 and then you'd have to pay what it would cost on top of your purchase price for remodeling...God I live in the wrong state and city. That's a great deal for a historital home...Them people are spoil with there lower housing costs!

It would take far far more than $60,000 to get this home in livable condition. But even so, it would still be a great deal. I live in California, you can't even get a decent middle class home for under $450,000 to $500,000 and that isn't even nowhere near the coast.
@StillJustD8 ай бұрын
60K to get it "livable". as in to get the occupancy code. and another 150-250k to get it actually live-able. And you'd still be in Youngstown.
@710MaryJane2 жыл бұрын
I can’t believe no one has bought it! To renovate it’s only $60,000+ and $70,000 to purchase, $130,000 is not a lot of money for that mansion. Now, it also depends how high the yearly TAXES are! If taxes are $10,0000 a year, then that’s a problem. If I lived in that State, I would have bought it.

Hello there, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing ever in life. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life.He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. See John 1:12 for this please. Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?
