Ok guys, I’ve officially figured out Dan and ninja Brian’s dynamic and why they’re friends (nsp canon not irl.) SO. Brian is clearly some nearly omnipotent vengeful god sorta being, hence the ability to do pretty much whatever, but it mostly being centered on murdering the shit out of whatever happens to be closest. Danny sexbang is a perpetual being, one even Brian can’t kill permanently. At first he hung around dan trying to make him stay dead, and was confused when he kept getting up 2 minutes after getting dismembered, again. Over time it became clear that Danny was the only one who could be around Brian for an extended period of time; developing a sorta friendship based on Danny not caring when Brian inflicts grievous violence on him, and Brian going along with whatever nonsense dan gets into his head that day. Over time dan picks up a few of Brian’s ninja tricks (like reappearing wherever he feels like in the videos, or jumping through the museum window in first date) but still relies on Brian to get him out of trouble. TLDR; Brian likes Danny because he can kill him lots.
