That Norman ability is so OP. Should have make him roll 2 dice and only gain 2 clues when there is success.

This game is my empty pocket game. I haven't played all the scenarios on the other expansions and already I'm ready to buy this one :) Nice expansion apparently. The minis look very shinny in this one, maybe it was the lighting you were using. I use the black bases (the clear ones get expensive), but for the bigger minis that can stand up without the bases I don't put them. The ones that keep the black base I just do some basing on them after painting the minis.

Hey! Could be the lightening indeed. They don’t look that shiny off camera. That’s a cool idea. I like not putting bases on the big one. Seems pointless hey? Cheers!

@@RollingSolo yes they look great without the base, and most of the big minis are able to if you cut the small pin at the bottom.

Another 50 euros to stump up next month 'sigh'. Really excited for this. I loved The Forgotten Age cycle in the LCG. Like you, I dump the heathen bases, whoever came up with that marketing sell? Tiles are gorgeous, just waiting on payday. ;)

Yeah got to pick this up to complete my collection, still think the minis for this game are not great quality compared to other games.

Agree... the minis are worst quality than other games but a little better than what we were used to before MoM2nd. The LOTR ones are a little better in my opinion.

@@Balrog7 Don't have LOTR, but out of all the Fantasy Flight Games the best Minis are the ones from Descent 1st Edition.

Certainly not KDM level minis but in terms of tabletop games which don’t focus on sprue built minis they aren’t bad at all imo!

Is this expansion based on a Lovecraft story or are we now seeing expansions that have no Lovecraft connection at all? And I think you answered this before but where were those clear tiles bought or did you cut them yourself?

Good question. This one is a bit more detached but honestly even in Eldritch Horror the Amazon played a big role in the game and there’s even a spot for it on the board. The jungle is full of mysterious places!

Nice Unboxing! Adam, can you let me know the sizes of clear bases you used? I’m thinking there’s about 2 maybe 3 sizes to get. The bigger monsters (or any for that matter) that can stand on their own I’m not going to base, I’ll just cut the nub off. And I’m assuming Amazon is the best place to buy them?? Thanks!

Hey Tom! No problem. Off hand I don’t know. I would need to check when I’m home and do some measuring. On second though, a fan of the channel sent some to me years ago. Enough to cover multiple expansions. So even I don’t know. I would need to get ahold of them haha
