Bir Sony hastası olarak daha doğrusu bende aşık olduğum sevdiğim kullandığım ve unutamayacağım mhc 771 model hi-fi vardı. Satmıştım halen çok pişmanım. Almanyadan kendim bizzat almıştım. Zaten videolarınızı bu yüzden izliyor ve takip ediyorum. Hakikaten video çekim vs. vs. ödül alması gereken bir efsanesiniz... Hatta yine 95 senesinde Almanyadan aldığım Arızalı Sony WM-EX334 model walkmannım duruyor. Size gönderebilirim çekim için... Ama geri isterim 🙂

Good video and I thank him for sharing his video. But I agree with you using powered screw driver (no toque specs) is risky and same thing with 20 years old thermal paste, the thin layer of paste between heatsink and the amp i.c will be dry. Every time we changed the lamp on Endoscopy at the hospital we must changed the paste that dissipate the heat from the lamp because they dry up. Failing to change the paste on Sony amp will reduce amp life and new model will to go protection mode.The guy does not seem to take positive criticism when you tell him where is going wrong. Maybe it is a culture thing.Bio-medical Engineer and Ex Sony engineer.

Hello my friend. The reason for changing the stk paste is this. When you look at the working data of stk, it has limits of 25 40 50 125 150 degrees during operation. Since such devices are produced for end users, they can reach certain temperatures. Within these temperatures, this cooler and thermal paste are not changed for years and until the end Other versions of such sticks, but other versions can even be used in nuclear reactors. And the slightest changes should be observed and maintained for them. But I do not need to change the paste for this device. I think it would be unnecessary. Now let's stop and think about how to use the best thermal paste Let's say its life is 6 months or 2 years. Which people change these pastes in 2 years. If such a thing happened, sony would be harmed and this device would break. If thermal paste was so important in this device, how could this device work continuously for 26 years without breaking down. I have made hundreds of these devices, but never I did not change the paste in one of them. There is a device that I remember making 9 years ago. O ciha I didn't change the sanding paste. And I'm still using it. But anyone can change the paste. However, when the stk cooler is removed, it must be changed. And all of these videos are just a show👍🏼🙋‍♂️

@@manstuckonhishead Hello Mate. Changing the paste is part of the maintenance and Sony recommends by the person who design the product, not me. Run the amp on max volume for hours then you will see the old paste will stress the i.c, distortion will happen, reduce life of the i.c and sometimes we notice it went into protection mode when on max volume on certain model at the sony repair center. Same thing apply to the laptop CPU and GPU, you will notice the temperature drops when replacing the old paste. At the hospital as a team we take things very seriously, we do things by the book and take criticism as positive way to move forward, learn from it and give the best care to our patient. During peak covid time 2020-2021 time we lost colleagues, we had to go repair faulty ventilator attached to covid patient who is dying. I had the option to run away or take shortcuts but I have the duty of care and done everthing by the book. If i have not done it the proper way, I would not been here writting to you. I hope you understand why things has to be done by the book (properly) and you are a teacher teaching the whole world, everyone is looking and learning from you. On the other note I want to thank you for making these awsome video. I was working on the assembling/testing calibrating at the sony plant and later move to the repair center. I still have the Sony MHC G99Av with the active sub woofer and the MHC W555. I am looking for the W55 to buy and do you know that the unit you service has secret menu to test all the buttons, LEDS, jogs etc... It would be interesting to show the calibration of the pick up laser. tape deck cal. Brother thank you and please keep on uploading these awsome video and remember learn from positive criticism. Usually replacing weaker capacitors linked to display module restore its brightness. RX90 should be louder and have a stronger bass since it has bigger speakers.

For Sony MHC G99 AV [FL Display Tube, LED All Lit and Key Check mode] When the TUNER/BAND , DISPLAY/DEMO , and MENU 2 buttons are pressed simultaneously, the FL display tube and LEDs will all light up. Press any button to enter the key check mode. When the key check mode is entered, the FL display tube displays “K 1 J0 V0”. Each time a button is pressed, the counter increases in the following order, K 2 n K 3 n K 4.If buttons already pressed once are pressed again, the counter will not increase. When the VOLUME knob is rotated in the + direction, the count increases in the following order. n V2 n V3.When rotated in the - direction, it decreases in the following order. V0 n V9 n V8. When the AMS dial is rotated in the clockwise direction, the count increases in the following order. J1 n J2 n J3.When rotated in the counterclockwise direction, it decreases in the following order. J0 n J9 n J8.To exit form the test mode, press the TUNER/BAND , DISPLAY/ DEMO , MENU 2 buttons simultaneously again.
