I haven't been to Sea World for quite a while. The last time I went was when they just opened Kraken in 2000. Kraken is an awesome rollercoaster and it's good to see that Sea World is adding another awesome coaster. I would love for Sea World to keep making awesome rides such as this.

this ride was so scary you drop down head first for like 5 seconds. my throat was hurting for 2 hours after this ride! the way that they make you face down makes it even scarier.

They're just doing soft openings now then they're closing the ride on May 20th for a special two day invitation only grand opening event and then the ride will be officially opened at the normal park opening time on May 22nd.

Manta by a mile in my opinion. The G's on that dive loop are just insane.

Actually, there is no such thing as "copying" in the roller coaster industry unless it is solely for themeing. Both Air and Manta (as well as other coasters such as Tatsu and Superman: Ultimate Flight) were built by designers Bolliger & Mabilard. The park orders a specific type of coaster, Flying Coaster in this case, and the designers creates a ride based on the specifications. The only way a park can "copy" a coaster is if they completely decorate it in the same fashion. :)

Agreed there as well, not many coasters have a queue that can keep riders busy, especially with an aquarium. The music is epic too. I enjoyed the music they had that first week (Starting May 2nd). It seems they have slightly changed it up recently though. I no longer hear the choir of children in an part of it.

I loved this ride! Except the one I was scared about was the Dive Loop XD LMAO. At least I rode twice and try to get use to it! In my opinion I love manta better than Kraken xD Ik Kraken has a drop and crazy ass loops. But Manta feels AWEEESOMEEE!

It's novel at first, but all it really is is Superman's Ultimate Flight 1.5. Trust me, I know since I've been on both numerous times. All in all, it's a smooth ride, not really fast or tall at all. Pretty much the best part is last row going into the pretzel loop. Not much after that. I can see why people who don't like coasters would like this ride as it is more of a tame and smooth coaster ride.

i rode 6 times 2 days ago DO NOT go into this park thinking u will ride it waiting in a 1 1/2-3 hour line you either have to come at 8:00 1 hour early or do buy a quik que i rode it 6 times in 20 mins with the quik que!! best ride ever and manta is scarier the worst part tho is the upside down 3G loop it feels SOOOOO weird!!

Been on it, not worth going to Sea World for even if you live in Florida state. Its a good laugh as its a different rollercoaster experience. its slightly better than the other of its kind, Air and Tatsu. It fails in comparison to the giants of the world like the Hulk and Kingda Ka.
