To make this film we spent weeks in Utah's Manti-La Sal National Forest during the end of September and beginning of October to try and catch the spectacular fall foliage. We were not disappointed.
Whereas most of Utah's National Parks do not have much in the way of fall foliage (except for Zion & Capitol Reef), the Manti has some of the most breathtaking autumn beauty anywhere in the world.

That is Oohwa pond at Warner campgound. also the overlook of Castle Valley on the road from Youngs ranch on South Mesa across the Sand Flats to Moab. Lots of memories growing up in Moab since 1948. Lots more trees and vegetation since Glen Canyon Dam doubled the rainfall. More dams on the Colorado River would turn this country into a garden. It once looked like thousand lakes in Minnesota Iguana
