Hi, your mystery coin is actually not a coin at all, but a US Civil War Token known as a store card. The obverse has the merchant information “John Quinn/small eagle/Grocer/ Cor 26 Sts./Lexington Av.” The reverse has the text “IOU” 1 Cent “Pure” to the left of the 1 and “copper” to the right of the 1. The merchant is from New York City. It is catalogued as Fuld NY630BG-6a and is a rarity of 4 on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 is common and 10 is unique. An awesome find from the 1861-1865 period.

Wow!! That’s gotta be the most detailed feedback we’ve ever gotten. Very cool and thank you so much. There is nothing like having people explain mystery finds.

Young man, you have definitely dug some real "what's it's" there.... they puzzled me for sure! And that Yanks reference...I'm sure you really meant "next year Mets"!!! 😁👍 Great finds though! Always got a kick out of finding those "good luck" items... especially with the old wheaties pressed in them. Thanks again for sharing your hunts with us... really do appreciate it! Take care, be safe and, as always, God Bless America! 🇺🇸

Mets just slowed down at the end. They couldn’t be beat in July and Aug. I was rooting for them for a Subway series. Thanks again Jim. Emma and my wife will be on the next video, a good long one

Wow Mike some awesome finds congrats 👍 I think I hit it "oh it's just a rosie" 🤣🤣🤣 My cool finds for this week were bunch of wheaties, 1901 & 1897 IHP's, 1932 buffalo, 1946 rosie, 1926 merc, 1901 & 1912 V nickels, and a old Show World Center token from NYC👊👊👊 I finally broke down and ordered The Legend Pro pack and another coil, to help me on some of my sites, I love my Vanquish but, I needed something to help with unmasking...

Another great video of amazing finds! That piece is definitely the broken head of a valve for a motor. Who finds dollar coin spills? Has to be you 😆 so wild. Love the patina on the Indian and the watch winder is so awesome! That token is super cool! Wicked happy hunting brother! 👊

Nice hunts my friend, very much enjoyed the side by side Minelab comparison. I have both and feel I get just a bit more overall performance out of the Manticore.
@DigginDuoАй бұрын
@@digginhistoryoncapecod7506 I didn’t favor the Manticore at 1st but then again, I did that with the CTX when I switched to the Nox. Taking my time but I’m starting to get the hang of it. Thanks again friend

You gotta turn the sensitivity down on the manticore. If you run it high like that it becomes unstable. 21 sensitivity is the sweet spot. Trust me you will get plenty deep.
@davemiller8215Ай бұрын
lololol.....when he was trying to actually hear a target in that shit filled park with the sens at 30!!!!!!! it was clearly the ass end//bad echo side of 2 iron targets in proximity....that were fusing together and giving you the 'ol 2 wrongs make a right signal!! i move my Manta Ray sens in the 22-25 area depending on how urban the search area is and no higher!!
@DigginDuoАй бұрын
I finally figured that out after this video. I was hoping to pull some deeper targets. It’s very stable at 23-24 for me. Thank you very much
@DigginDuoАй бұрын
@@davemiller8215 I was thinking I’d pull some deep targets but I finally figured out that you don’t need to have the sensitivity that high. I recently lowered it to 25 and it’s amazing! Thanks for the feedback
@davemiller8215Ай бұрын
@@DigginDuo high SENS is like high beams on the car; the dirt being akin to fog in many cases based on the clutter of debris there and//or heavy mineralization in certain areas......either way, you need to always adjust the SENS to where the machine is predominantly stable and it can "see" through the fog
@DigginDuoАй бұрын
@ You know, I know that much with other detectors, I was like I said, hoping to find deeper targets without realizing the machine is like any other when it comes to sensitivity. I guess I was being a little arrogant thanks very much for all the info.
