And yet I am very demanding on this point (for example I can't play Rocket League on PS4, because there is a micro latency compared to the PC version). I can't play in HDMI because my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab A7) doesn't support it, but on the tablet with the controller it's already great!

How do I know I won't get banned with this app? With Mantis (and any other keymappers which use Universal Touch Mapping), it's nearly impossible for an App/Game to detect whether Touch Mapping is being executed. Why? - Because although Overlays can be detected, the Overlay running apps' identity cannot be. Hence it'd be harsh for a game to ban their user for just this as there are plenty of legit Overlay use cases. - Because the Touch Mapping is just Emulated Touch Injection and no different to actual touches. Again making it undetectable. - USB Debugging detecting is easy but can be enabled on the device for multiple use cases. Again not at all conclusive enough. And Companies do not ban users unless they are 99% sure about the unwanted activities. Banning even a single account wrongly leads to massive PR issues.

Alot of these guys Know these app Don't really work with the new UIs, he's using a low end phone and I'm sure it doesn't use android 11, this is the problem. Just to show you, he didn't even acknowledge anyone with similar issues. I use the PS4 controller with an S10e and it's the same problem. These guys are just promoting these apps that only works on older phones SMH

Sadly I can't help anyone with a PS4 controller as I only have Xbox controllers. I have replied to some comments saying this. All I can suggest is contacting the developer and seeing if they can help. This should work on any phone with Android 7 or higher. I have a BSP-D9 controller I just got for my Lenovo Legion Y700 and I am trying to set it up and I'm having such a nightmare. I tried using this app, but the Mantis app doesn't detect the D9:( I want to play Genshin with it and I tried using it plug and play style and it only half-works, the camera stick and triggers are fucked up when I try to use them. I see videos of people using the D9 with no issue...but I am having plenty 🗿 I'm new to this controller scene thing, so I aren't familiar with any obvious apps I may be should have.

I haven't seen that before but it sounds like it doesn't have write-permissions. You could either try re-installing the app or if you're feeling adventurous, find the app in Settings - Apps and then check what permissions it has - make sure it has storage permissions.

if you guys are talking about the camera view mapped stick not working but the movement stick does, TRY: keeping camera mode enabled (only for the stick mapped to the camera)... change in-game (genshin impact's) sensitivity to the lowest possible... then change the mapped stick sensitivity to below 0.50 (below 50% of the stick sensitivity)... then try finding a preference from there, though i recommend to keep genshin's sensitivity at 1 or 2 while the stick sensitivity being at least 50% or less. this is so the camera can be smooth and controllable, custom settings only under those recommended may allow you to be faster but keep smoothness and not have a non-functional camera or one that barely functions and even pixel skips.

I have everything, adb drivers, xiaomi usb drivers, and cable connected. But it dont show up a message on phone when i launch mantis buddy, and doesn't say anything about popup on phone

It's possible Xiaomi doesn't support floating window widgets? Can you look for the permission manually under App Permissions?

I noticed my keyboard seems to be replaced after using the application. Not sure to some users notice this but when you go to the keyboard and applications you will see a additional keyboard installed on your device. Name is Mantis Services. Its a keyboard but received a popup message that its possible that use for keylogger. So i uninstall it right away and scan my phone. Hope nothing serious that got affect my phone.

No that's just how the software works. If you want to use your keyboard during a game you need to switch your keyboard back to Gboard/SwiftKey/Samsung Keyboard etc. The app works as a keyboard input so it can press buttons on the screen 👌

Hello, I know im very late but I have some problems like when I put input like right bumper it won't do anything and another issue is when I enter a match in free fire the mantis buddy overlay just disappears. If the controller has anything to do with why this isn't working for me completely the controller I use is ps4.

I don't think the PS4 controller works - at least I've only ever seen comments from people saying it doesn't work with the PS4 controller sadly .

I'm currently using and Ipega red knight as my gaming controller and I did all the steps in this video and it shows that the mantis app is connected but when I go to map out the buttons it doesn't seem to work 😔 if you can help me I will sure appreciate it. And the Phone am using is redmi Note 6 Pro running android 12

Make sure you don't have any other apps which use the floating widget permission...I had a screen clicker app installed which stopped Mantis from working/recognising input so I uninstalled it and Mantis worked fine.

Same on the poco x3 nfc works on calibration amd such but not on the game itself (genshin impact)

It won't let me switch the role of which phone is controlling the USB, It says "couldn't switch" and shows a menu that asks to choose an app for the usb. Why is it doing this? Is it common? How can I resolve the issue?

I managed to pair with pc, but I can't play pubg because i need to deactivate usb debugging, and wireless pairing isn't working, says that the pairing codes are wrong witch isn't. Plus the joystick s doesn't work in free version, i don't know in paid version
