I've got both. I love the type C version, but I got a new phone case and the USB insert no longer fits into my phone with the case on. Excellent review, spot on. Been doing some searching and can't find the info I'm looking for, you could tell me though. Is the Type C detected by CODM as it's run through the phone or not detected as you need to assign buttons working similarly as triggers do? I currently run Flydigi Stingers and my S20 Plus struggles. They work for about 10 seconds then the screen stops responding to their touches unless I lift my thumbs (effectively rendering me completely immobile while trying to shoot, not good). I've already ordered the Gamesir Type C but it just occurred to me the controller detection and I'd rather not limit my gaming to only controller users.

Which one would u chose out of the 3..glap, Bluetooth or USB c? Thanks

The Glap has always been my favourite controller but I do like both the new Gamesir ones since they updated the d-pad and included the analogue cap things. Even though the Glap is only Bluetooth 4.0 I never noticed any issues with lag. With Game Pass there'll always be an amount of input lag due to the nature of what you're doing so to keep that to a minimum, USB C would be better. The lag is rated the same as a ps5 or Xbox controller. The battery has about a 20hr battery life and the pass through charging only works on some phones and can damage some phones if it's not compatible.

Bluetooth overall just for the convenience of not having to take off my case. If you don't use a case then USB C wouldn't be a hassle.

If you're using the USB-C version then it's highly likely your rear camera will be blocked. If you use the Bluetooth version you could in theory (depending on where your camera is) position the phone so the rear camera is not covered

Really in-depth review. Nice job! I really dont like the clicky and loud buttons, that was a big turn off for me. At the moment my ds4 controller with phone holder attachment is doing fine, buttons are silent though the whole thing feels heavy at times which is why i considered gamesir. One feature i would love to see is wireless charging the phone on bluetooth version. It could work both ways 1- Phone charging the controller 2- When controller is connected to power source, it would wirelessly charge the phone and the controller. Now that'd be amazing 😁
@AndroidAddicts2 жыл бұрын
