That’s a ridiculous black drum! Definitely the biggest one I’ve seen. Looks like a really fun trip. And BTW I think you did a really great job of promoting Fishbrain in a genuine way. It’s not that widely used here in NY where I live but I have used it more when I travel and it’s been helpful.

Wow I’ve never seen Mantis shrimp ideas as bait before in the gulf nice video man, and yeah I usually use half a crab and it does well but the meat gets taken away so quick because of other crabs and little fish. Thinking about using a whole one next time I go out.

Coop coming through dual wielding...badass brother. That was a beastly drum for sure. If you hadn't been anchored that would have been a hell of a fight. Why not try a whole crab? You can still do one or two smaller baits, but have the monster line on deck as well. You may need a way to reel in the small baits if you hook up though. Clearing the lines will be crucial. Been watching since the bridge days, it's been a fun ride so far. Thanks.

Ya. Cooper!!! Run it back with full crab. Just chop the legs and make it like a square chunk. And bro, they do come in super shallow. I've seen them running in about 2-3 ft of water. Also around the south jetties, packery, right in the middle of the paved parking lot. I've seen them run real close to the edge.
@311bum074 жыл бұрын
