Those days where you see a major baitball getting attacked lasts in your memory for a lifetime. The biggest one I've seen was 120 miles off the coast of Mexico, I saw hundreds of birds diving, whales and tuna breeching... I hooked up with an 86 lb bluefin on medium tackle plus 40+ smaller bluefins and albacore.

I could handle this for a week np ....dig a small hole add sicks start fire get wood forked sticks put them in the ground on both sides of fire.Put fish through stick and lay across forked sticks and cook....yum .lay under the stars bonfire eating whatever I catch. Pop tarts YUK....investing beforehand what wild edibles it has and use those too :) bring one small pan for everything some booze,smoke,instant coffee,sugar,dry creamer,water or water purifier use ocean water and sterilize it on fire in pan . G string and have a blast suntanning and fishing for the next week ....:) my environment all day long. Psssst been off grid 15 years can so handle this...wash pot with sand :) want a bath facial and foot scrub sand. I would have stayed more than one day.

I've fished like this in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Early spring and late fall. Lake trout and northern pike hitting every lure on almost every cast .. My dad caught a 35 pound lake trout on that trip.

Very good. But you need to toughen up the last 10 feet of line before your lure/hook. Try wire, tougher nylon or even dacron. Hopefully you won't lose as many on those dreaded rocks.
