Very strongly agree !! The west understands Buddhism never knowing that most Ideas are Sanatani ideas. again they now talk about Meditation quoting Buddhism never knowing the real source . Its like talking about Child but missing the father and mother . Again meditation have become huge which was denied as something like foolishness in west same way mantra has its unique power now in denial state . Most do not understand its power , but they will come to this state of "Power of Mantra ". Trust me it will happen. Now can all the words are Mantra ? No ways, Is prayer = mantra ? Prayer is just asking for it , Mantra is using some specific words at some number of times . God knows what but this ancient words have some special power something unique the way its pronounced or said it activates certain part . Any human being from any race or religion can recite mantra . Mantra is special and powerful . My Top Mantras are is 1)Gaytri mantra 2)Mahamritunjay mantra 3) Ganesha Mantra Infact Ganesha Mantra should come first when doing any mantra . but, it was shocking for me when all the reference point for meditation goes to Buddhism they practice this a lot but the source of all this is Sanatanisam .
