Mom was a Delta - she grabbed up my brother and I and we rushed out to see the Bay Area premiere of this amazing hidden gem of a movie, she bought the album - we played it on repeat for years - all of the lyrics and instrumental music of ALL of these beautiful songs that Manu Dibango created are etched in my mind and soul FOREVER!! Massa Soku!
