Este tipo desafia todas las leyes de la fisica.... A veces pareceria que se mueve en un plano de tiempo diferente a los demas... Es como si supiera de antemano donde ira la pelota... Lo impresionante es como sus compañeros estaban atentos a lo que el hacia y no era una sorpresa que hiciera esos pases sin mirar e imposibles de hacer pasando por entre 3 o 4 rivales, haciendo caños etc etc. . Eso era control del juego en su maxima expresión, una vision de todo el juego al mas alto nivel, un técnico dentro de la cancha y con muchas habilidades mas, como penetrar, tiro de 3, robos, etc etc. Impresionante su ultimo partido con Golden State, los mismos rivales aplaudían, super estrellas como Stephen curry, kevin durant, el respeto de superestrellas como lebron james y Kobe Bryant, sin dudas un jugador distinto, no era Kobe Bryant, no era lebron james, pero tenia cosas que esos mismos jugadores admiraron y supieron respetarlo por eso. y el tema números es evidente, cuando se necesitaba que el se pusiera el equipo al hombro lo hacia, sea por lesiones de parker o Duncan y te metia 40 puntos como toda superestrella, si el resto de los partidos no hacia eso era por el tipo de juego que tuvo siempre el San Antonio de Greg Popovic que se baso en tim Duncan era repartir el goleo.

@@wzarattin yo no se nada de basket pero ver a ginobili emociona. Un jugador de ese talento podia exigir grandes sueldos, que lo vendan. A un equipo grande o jugae siempre, o jugar ofensivo y que defiendan los otros. Manu no hacia jugar el equipo para el. El jugaba para el equipo teniendo 4 anillos. Garra, valentia cerebro, juego de equipo, tiro de 3, defensa, desbordar continuamente a 3 tipos de 2.20.que mas se le puede pedir.

Definite Hall of Famer. As for those non here saying he doesn't have the raw talent as other SG's... that may be true but he's not lacking in talent either. However, he had something I say only Kobe and MJ had... competitiveness, heart, and he could definitely will the tram and take jeer when he needed to when he was in bus prime (even now sometimes) You don't believe that just go watch his 2005 playoff and Finals run for example! I love Timmy buy I think Many could have easily won NBA finals MVP. Also, of all the top players in the world, how many would be willing to come off the bench for the good of the team? he has talent to giveaway, he only lacks a stronger body and some athletism while not lacking it at all, he just has less than other legends like Kobe and such...yet he compensates that lack of athletism precisly with TALENT and SKILLS galore in every aspect of the game and an incredible variety of roles. He is one of the craftiest players ever.

Matteus You have a good point but as far as raw talent being able to take over whenever, he can't do that. He's always been really good in that masterful system of coach pop but mj, kobe, wade, iverson, mcgrady, carter, baylor and many more good sg's would kill him in every way possible, while ginobli was a star these guys were superstars, muli time all-stars ,mvps, scoring champions, all nba 1st team multiple times but I like ginobli he's pretty good but compared to those guys at that position he couldn't hang

I’ve wondered why he didn’t ask how to pronounce Ginobili’s last name before announcing his name? I understand that he wasn’t at the top of the list, but he was on a list. So, why wasn’t it important enough to be able to pronounce someone’s name no matter the placement? I’m so glad that Ginobili had the last laugh.

la posición indica el orden de preferencia que después los equipos pueden elegir, existe todo un reglamento de quien elige primero en función de como le fue en la temporada, en general los que eligen primero son los equipos a los que el fue peor en la temporada, el sentido de eso es equilibrar y que los peores equipos puedan mejorar. y eligen jugadores en función de la posición en el draft que es como un ranking, claro que es relativo. Ese ranking prioriza los jugadores de EEUU por un lado y por otro lado, Ginobili si bien ya estaba en Italia en el 99 aun no había salido campeón en la europea y tampoco había explotado en europa, incluso expertos de argentina no supieron vislumbrar lo que fue Ginobili después, y además en la NBA juegan mas a seguro. Claro que es un despropósito que un jugador que va a terminar en el Hall de la Fama haya drafteado 57, pero es por eso. Un anécdota muy representativa de que no visualizaron lo que iba a ser Ginobili es sobre su entrenador Popovic, que cuando llego a San Antonio le dijo que el lo iba a convertir en un gran jugador, después de unos días, el mismo Popovic dijo "ya es un gran jugador". Si no los especialistas pudieron preveer lo que era Ginobili es un poco entendible lo que sucedió 3 años antes en el 99 cuando lo draftearon 57. Seguramente quedara como otro record de Manu cuando lo incluyan en el Hall de la Fama, el jugador del Hall de la Fama que peor fue drafteado.
