It's an excellent idea That he brings, As long as these sources (any leftover things ) are correctly kept since the historic time, that may give more truth full Informations than the written texts , the vice versa happens only if historians are truthfull through out the chain of the knowledge transfer. And his concept of reaching to audians by stories will be effective than written history books. Base of nationalism should be the nature of the nation, in India it (National identity ) has to be "unity in diversity".

Archeologist KK Mohammed (a malayali) who was a lead person in excavation team of Babri Masjid made very clear that a temple did exist there. It was not a Ram temple. It was a Vishnu temple dedicated to Ram. Though Ram's name is not mentioned directly anywhere.
