About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

C'mon now ! He had to walk all the way back home to look for his waders. Then when he found them they were dry-rotted since he hadn't used them since 2001. You have to give him some credit for jumping in without them, right ? Some guys just work better on jobs where their knees are bent. 😉😉

I'm more experienced in this type of work and better physically prepared, so I still appreciate his help 🔨⛏️😉 Besides, if it weren't for the excavator's failure, he would have done the job much faster than I did it manually. However, by coincidence, this episode was also the first to exceed 1 million views on my KZbin channel - and if he had done this work with an excavator, it probably wouldn't have been so popular - I'm talking about the version recorded with a tripod. Yes, I know the Kenislovas Channel. We even wrote to each other by e-mail several times, but we live too far away to record anything together. No, beavers are very shy and avoid direct contact with people. However, I have met a beaver several times while working, but in such situations I always leave it alone 🦫🦫 Greetings 👋

Watch Kenislovas he digs out the bottom of the dam until it collapses on itself .

Too be honest. Kenislova lets a lot of rubbish drain downstream which ultimately might cause clogging. Having said that, he is doing his clearances for fun. Maciej is employed by local authorities to do his works so I'm assuming he's making sure all debris is cleared away from the canals.
