Manual door EuroDzwig lift/elevator @ Siemaszki, Krakow

This is awesome modernization by keeping the old classic doors. So it works in a way that if the door is open then the lift won't mode. However if there person isn't in the cabin the door can be left open. The reason why is because there is a platform inside the cabin which activates the safety ride.
