Good video. Lots of Edge owners are having issues with the liftgate not opening. I pulled the two power connectors off the main fuse box under the hood, for about 30 seconds, and this reset the liftgate module - now it works by the FOB again.

I searched and searched for a way to open my lift gate from the inside because it would not open and I needed to replace the lock actuator. I cannot thank you enough for this video!!!

"Push it to the outside"????is that towards the passenger outside, the rear outside the driver outside, the back outside????

Had same problem and it was ground at battery connections no parts required.

I think that's what's going on with mines. How did you find the ground? Did you have to take it to the shop? I was thinking about changing the fuse, but I figured I should do a drop drive 1st.

There is no way to do that with the door closed.

Amazing video. Saved me a lot of headaches. That little secret door is so buried. Ford needs to be sued for making such a ridiculous design.

The video is helpful, but why does no one know how to take a good video? I watched two videos and one was too out of focus to see and this one has the open garage door so the video is too dark where it matters.
