In spherocylender +0.75 come first if we are moving zero to plus direction then you not take +0.75 as spher and +1.50 as cylinder And final cylinder would be +0.75 because we are moving from +0.75 to +1.50 so So final +0.75/+0.75 axis

Once you have neutralizer both meridians or found powers of both meridians, the axis wheel which is located at the base of the eyepiece can be rotated towards the alignment of the second meridian i.e., the axis bar is roasted and longest line is aligned parallel to the the lines of the second meridian

Sir .can i ask a doubt! In sphero cylindrical lens - when u rotate the power dial one meridian is clear at +1.5 and other is +0.75. But why you take spherical power as +1.50 ? Y not 0.75 ? Is there any theory please tell !

You can take any as spherical..but the axis will get change as in transposition.

In the third lens the circle is not clear. Its too blurred. So how are you saying that its clear on both the meridian

Why optical lens move from desired axis ? What's mean desired axis?

Required axis mean..which we require..the requirement of patient. Not everytime patient's axis would be 90..it could be 1 to 180.

Hi sir why did you choose 135 axis?

To follow the prescription and because the cyl was aligned so in the trial lens i.e., cyl axis was neutralized at 135, he only rotated the trial lens manually in order to mark the axis onto the trial lens

If you observe clear dots then lens is spherical ..and if you observe vertical and horizontal cylindrical mires then the lens is cylindrical.

So what if it is a spherocylinder? What do you observe?

@@Jaycycar if you can see dots at the center then its spherical power may be + or -. If you see a mires with cylinder shape then you will get cylinder. . and has a axis.. If you get cylindrical mires and both axis got different power then its spherocylinder .

@@shizamushtaq2718 no in spherocylender both meridian is shape is green cylinder type First meridian take as sphere and difference from tha to other meridian take as cylinder
