I can clearly understanding why she is not exposure to agile or scrum, on my previous organization testes only get the tickets and they do not participate in the sprint planning or any other meeting rather than the daily standup. So testers in that kind of organization will not get any idea about sprint ceremonies. here is how my previous cmp used to work 1. Will get to know about the features only when a mail is sent by the dev at the bringing of the sprint 2. No requirement docs available, in the feature they will mention about the features 3. On clarification start preparing the test case 4. Dev lead will plan the release date and confirm with the QA lead 5. Once the release day confirm, testers will test and report 6. In the daily stand up they will discuss (no sprint review) 7. QA sign off 8. Production release and testing Like this only they used to work. Since am a senior test engineer and have work with lot of other companies. I know that this not a good practice for testers. I tried to change that and nothing works. sad reality. Please remember while choosing company make sure that they are following the methodologies and framework effectively, otherwise your skills will go down that's for sure.

Sir it has been 1 year I am working on a project as a freelancer on Upwork with a offshore team (I faked my exp but able to justify it), I am the only QA handling 3 portal of the same project. Isnt sprint review = retrospective, discuss same thing ?

In a Sprint meeting you discuss what all user stories can be done within the next sprint depending on the priority of the work and availability of resources. Whereas in a Retrospective, you discuss what all went well in the previous sprint , what didn’t go well and how to correct from the mistakes that were made during sprint .
