What is a test case?
A step by step instruction written in a detailed manner with steps to be performed and expected result for any given functionality is called a Test case.
Where to write a test case?
In companies test cases are written in any of the Test Management Software like HP ALM, qTest, TestRail, Rally etc.
When you are a learner and if you refer any blogs or KZbin videos, you might have seen the test cases written in an excel file.
But, that will not give us a better satisfaction. We are going to use a free test management software called TestCollab.
In this video, we not only learn how to create test cases, we will be learning how a task will be created for test case development in jira, how the jira task and the test suite will be connected and so on. This is how exactly things will happen in real time. Kindly share it with your friends.

Hi arul, naresh here I have a different doubt not related to tutorial, but I think you could clarify me, actually I lost my phone 2days back, so that I can't login with my office details like teams & outlook because it is connected with authenticator app of my lost phone. But I have to login with my new phone, it is asking for authentication code with old. How to recover my old authentication with new phone, I have not given backup in the lost phone. Is there any way you how to deal with this problem. Please let me know. Help me.

Why can't you update your test cases, after you have the application in hand? Pls don't take evry sentence in a literal way! If you have the application ready you can add screenshots at that time. Though this is not a mandatory step, this will help in reducing KT time for a beginner who is coming to that project.

What is slutu test? paper la elutha sonna, same procedure than, u should be writing, test id, test name, description, step and expected outcome for each step. Im using whatsapp as example because its used by most of the people and they can understand and relate it well. also im using amazon or flipkart for examples. Manual testing la previous videos pathrukingala? If not watch them. Test management tool will not decide if it’s pass or fail. You have to validate and update the status in the tool. If the software is working as expected it’s pass if not fail

Take a look at the job description of the job u are applying for. You have to k ow moat of it. Java and selenium is just the bare minimum. U need to know framework building, maven, github, testng or junit, api testing. These are some important topics to be considered

Skip means you are not executing the test case because it's not needed. Block means, there is an issue which is not allowing us to test that function. If you add relevant screenshots for complex scenarios it will be helpful.
