I read once that Ronnie used to play and sing hymns when he wasn't on stage. I have followed all 3 and their bands since high school in the early to mid 70's. My heart is filled with so much joy knowing that Donnie and Johnny are Christians spreading the Word and praising Jesus and Father God! ❤❤❤❤❤

Amen. Ronnie was a Believer. His Dad planted those Precious seeds when they were young. Ronnie as I say about others that left us at that age is, "They went Home early"... Praise Jesus for a Salvation that's simple, one that a child can understand. It's sad that "preachers" make it difficult and doubtful. Praise God for Godly Parents and the Bible.🙂

Johnny and Donny are living proof of the truth of the promise of Acts 16:31 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, AND THY HOUSE' Ronnie may have been backslidden when the Lord took him from us all those years ago but I'm convinced he's been 'with Christ, which is far better' ever since (Phil 1:23). A one time trust in the Lord Jesus no matter how one fares afterwards is enough to save for eternity. Salvation is all of Grace, all of Christ and all received by faith alone. Unfortunately, too many preachers complicate things by making unBiblical additions to the terms that Jesus set forth. He did all the hard work and there's nothing left for us to do but simply believe on Him whom the Father hath sent.

I would just like to say to the Van zant brothers I've lived a rough life I'm from Mobile Alabama I love the Lord with all my heart and I really just changed recently and face the Lord I really don't get into Christian music and I feel condemned about it but this music that y'all are putting out I can hear the old bad company sound in it I love it and I'm listening to it brother thank you for doing something for the Lord and for everybody out here that loves southern rock keep up the good work Brothers

This song hits home,3 months ago had diverticulitis, perforated colon,sepsis, surgery to remove bad section of intestines, would have been fatal,still have colostomy bag. Not pleasant BUT, Did you see the sunrise this morning? Absolutely beautiful, they all are! So yes it's good to be alive!! Great song neighbors, (I live in orange park too)

As a young partier, I listened to Skynnard when Ronnie Van Zant was the lead singer. It means a lot to me to see and hear this! Jesus said to Repent, and believe the good news. John 3, He said we gotta be born again, not just religious, or just go to church. We gotta let Christ come into us and transform our heart. The good news is that Jesus took our punishment, but we have to turn to God with all our hearts, and away from our sins. So if you haven't gotten right with God, do it now. @@VanZantBand I saw you both in St. Louis at a small theater when your first two VanZant albums came out through a country music station here. You were great! Johnny, you may remember talking to my blind friend with the black lab. Her dog's name was Vanda, but you called her Vander. From then on we all called her Vander! You also called her dad and left a mesage on his answering machine. That was super cool of you. I've seen you with Skynyrd several times. Donnie, I've seen you a bunch with .38 Special, and even got backstage passes a few times through Tom Soares and the Fan Club. So many stories, such great music all the way around. You guys are all perfect southern gentlemen. Wishing you all the best always!
