So awesome watching him…. And ducking under the same branches as he is !!!! 😉😉😉😉 My kids used to laugh at me when I watched hockey too !!! Ducking checks, hits on the boards, etc. Once you have ridden on trails and ducked branches, etc it’s almost instinct !! And I really love how respectful Mani is to people that he is trying to pass. Yeah, he Billy Bolt and Wade Young are my 3 favourite hard Enduro rider's. I'd love to see him and Billy come compete in more SA race's like the Roof Of Africa and the Kalahari Rally. I think Billy's actually done a Roof Of Africa already but I could be wrong. 8 know Wade has won it before.

Hes using the clutch as another rear brake I think, its a lot easier to modulate than the pedal. Especially if you have to take your feet off the pegs.

Engine breaking man, turn the engine off and modulate the clutch to slow you down

If he drops the boke or slips, without engine on it is a dead weight, less likely to slid or fall on throttle and full rev down the hill.

The hills are so steep you shut the bike off on 1st gear so the back wheel doesn't spin then you slip the clutch to let the wheel spin. With the bike running you have to use your right foot to hit the rear brake and it goes bad if you lose your balance and put your foot down, letting go of the rear brake and flying down the hill.

Billy has no team mates at all and the closest thing to a team mate Manni has is Tristan Hart but he is contesting the American series so not really the same team, doesn't make much sense, KTM is at the top of the game and hard enduro is gaining more popularity everyday but their truck and tent are almost overkill to support just one rider.
