Ah thankyou. I have machined many from solid, this was an experiment. I am sure the crank will stand the test of time but I do prefer to machine from solid. A small shaft like this can be machined from 4 inch sqaure bar. I hope you enjoy watching parts 2 & 3 where the crancshaft is finish machined..Cheers M.

The little crankshaft is used to pull & push, open & close wind bellows in a Limonaire Fairground or Band Organ organ if your watching in the U.S.A.
