My toes curl up when watching these guys. Literally working barefoot only feet from piled up swarf, and then wearing open toe sandals whilst pouring molten metal. Any moisture pockets in the mould would cause an eruption of molten metal, and yet no eye protection. Brave or crazy, the choice is yours. Not a bad casting though.

So many issues to comment about, including how was the base machined so that the shaft passing through the pair of separated/distant saddles would line up truly in a straight line. I do not expect line boring but I am sure that the truck will twist a little after these saddles and trunnion through them, is bolted on the truck. Another issue that caused me concern was the grinding machine at 32:31. The feeder cable is a pair of single insulated wires instead of a double insulated cable as I am used to. That voltage seems to be 240 volts and while I understand the state of the situation, I do wish these craftsmen would look after themselves for the sake of their own family responsibilities. Still, working at the scrap yards where ships go to die is much worse than we saw in this video. Wish these people good health and an opportunity to improve the situation, as they do deserve better working conditions in these modern days.

@@DontKnowHowToTypeIn2 since you obviously can't comprehend, "they" are those in these videos. It's the way they live & work. What can be done when their own government likes to categorize people into classes. I have had people comment that their government is very proud of this "class" of people. The filth & the squalor in which these people work in is apparently something to be proud of. It's quite obvious "they" have no regard for human lives, & human safety. Their government wouldn't allow them to work in those conditions, if they did. I wouldn't live or work in such squalor, & i definitely wouldn't work where human life & safety means nothing!

But it'swhy their economies are growing and they have work to do. Imagine the UK health & safety officers finding a factory like that..Sure it would be closed down quickly, and along with it families would starve, schools closed, poverty set in Need I say more ? Sure it's a tough world out there but I went to work at 15 years old in UK in not much better conditions.

Same here. I'm 82 now. I went to work at a man's job, getting a man's pay at 15. It was fifty cents an hour US. It paid my way through high school. Then I went to work in a heat treat company that was almost as bad as this. I survived. I am a big fan of OSHA and Union because I have worked without both and survived.( No Union, Black men who worked for the company for 30 years were fired just before they retired, therefore no pension.) The work was hot, hard, dangerous, pit furnaces in the floor at 1300 deg F. Oil quench tanks 30 feet deep level with the floor. You know. You, sir, and I could go into that shop and survive. Try to think of 4 people you know who would. I can't think of one.

Your Allah is 100 years back! It is a pity that he did not tell you that another god in the world had invented CNC machines for quite a long time. So that you can get on your head, not with your hands!

Hello Mr 'Arturo Bayangos'. If you are going to make contentious comments, then you should make sure you understand what you are writing. Look up the meaning of 'INGENUOUS'. It's not what you think. It's easy to make yourself look stupid by being ignorant.
