Wow, this was an amazing interview. It only took me 20 years to get around to it. I was in high school when this interview was done. Mr. Spike Lee, It'd be nice to meet you one day. I have been researching Malcolm X on my own these days, writing about my impressions. I wish I had known about him before, wasn't really "taught" about him in high school. After doing my own research the last couple of days, and after years of trying to understand the world we live in, and questioning many things, I can now put one and one together and can understand why. However times of brainwashing are over now that we have knowledge ad primary sources literally at our fingertips. We must set our minds free and search for the truth. The whole world is ready for , and needs, Malcolm today.

Malcolm x was a masterpiece and many people helped support it financially. However do the right thing, no better blues, jungle fever all have a classic place in history and actually leave an open door for sequels. Spike was exhausted and disappeared about the overall reaction to the film Malcolm x because he didn't understand that people were not paying tribute to a black hero no matter what.

I recall that interview of Farrakhan with Barbara Walters, when questioned about the " alleged" involvement in Malcolm's death, his exact words to her was" I created the atmosphere". I shall never forget it, then they interrupted the interview with that oj, on that highway so called"chase". He was jealous of Malcolm just as the others.
@joshuamitchell43433 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure all the brothers were running around calling malcolm a trader( not just farrakhan) and I’m positive that if the nation wanted to kill malcolm he would have never lasted as long as he did. The FBI HAD to plant opps in the nation. If memphis bleek started running around dissing jayz, going on tv saying xyz when everybody knows jayz gave him life. Im positive tah tah and all the other people close to jayz would be calling memphis bleek a trader and would want to bring to harm to him for going against what they love, what changed their life. It would take whatever love jayz has for bleek to keep people off of him. Much like elijah did to malcolm. This logical. But at the same time. There is a opening to destroy in that moment and that is what enemy typically takes advantage of. That is why you never go against black god protocol( as malcolm did ) We are at war. We can’t allow the enemy to know every single thing we think when we have a internal disagreement( which can always be worked out ). Imagine the usa government running to china every time something goes wrong. You can’t do that. The opposition will destroy you and use that weakness against you! Peace
