Answer: Public Private Partnership (PPP) is a way to execute and maintain a project (generally an infrastructure project) for delivering of goods and services through collaboration of government and private sector. Infrastructure projects in India were built by Government till 1990. But in the post liberalization era, various infrastructure projects are being built on PPP model. The main reasons for why PPP is required for infrastructure projects are:  There is major infrastructure deficit which the government cannot build on its own  Infrastructure is capital intensive and private sector can bring in the required financial resources  For faster infrastructure development we require the speed and skill of the private sector  Private sector is relative more effective in executing and maintaining infrastructure projects  Private sector can bring in better technology and knowhow Indian Railways has adopted three models for station redevelopment:  One is the PPP model, under which a project is planned, statutory clearances obtained and a developer is chosen to upgrade a facility. Habibganj, in the suburbs of Bhopal, is the country’s first railway station to be redeveloped as a PPP project.  The second is collaboration with foreign governments to develop stations.  The third model is the Swiss Challenge method, where bidders have the freedom to design and develop a project on their own. Rail infrastructure development, having the highest multiplier impact, can play a major role in making India a developed economy by 2047.

OMG. I am just a jee aspirant casually watching this video which came in my KZbin feed thinking that what language you guys use to write answer . I thought upsc is very tough and out of my bonds by language perspective. I thought you guys use too much hard English words like those English words which I used to read in my father's government letter/documents . My father is a government officer (not high ranking) but sometimes I saw him struggling to understand his documents which were in English . Those language were literally too complex. Even with use of dictionary many can't understand what they were trying to say. But after seeing this answer it's so simple language. I could easily write this type of language if I knew the facts. Maybe now i can think of upsc as my future.

I've been trying to learn a lot from your videos for a long time sir. Sir today I request to you please guide me. I'm facing difficulties... Actually I'm preparing for the same exam UPSC in Delhi. I'm taking coaching both for the GS as well as for my optional. I'm having 2 classes in a day.....even sometime there are 3 classes in a day one every Friday and Saturday. So after attending these classes, I'm getting tired and confused about what to study. I'm able to read newspaper and revise the classes (even not that effectively) I'm not able to read even standard books sir. May be many of aspirants are facing the same problems . Sir I humbly request to you please guide that what should be our daily Targets along with our classes. If possible make a short video on this. Thank you ! Keep motivating and blessings sir 🙏
