Former Leeds United player Eric made Old Trafford his home. The modern day legacy of winning trophies at the club starts from Sir Matt Busby, a former Liverpool captain and Man City manager. In my view, signing up James Milner would be perfect as he is a Leeds born and bred lad, played and won for Man City (so he knows the area) and currently plays for Liverpool, the biggest British club in the world (so he can cut the mustard at elite european clubs). I think that he should start off as a player- member of coaching staff and slowly make his way up the dugout and eventually, the club (he would be a perfect club president and CEO). Lastly, he dons the number 7 shirt, which is iconic at Man United. 🙄

I was upstairs, my dad shouted me to come down there’s news of Eric. I came down the stairs into the living room I think it took 2 seconds and I burst out crying. The announcement of his retirement, I was 16 I think. Fast forward today, Like all his loyal servants, he still makes us smile. Long live the king.

Eric cantona The Man The legend The enigma He still breathes Man Utd, the love he has for the fans and the club is unmatched and you can hear it in his voice, but the fans who saw him play feel that 10 fold for him. My idol as a kid and got me into football. He was larger than life, like a "superhero/maverick," pulling the strings of United. He was the kick start that the club needed which saw us win everything. I gave my son middle name of "Cantona" in honor of Eric. My no1 on my bucket list would be to see him in person. Not gonna lie I would totally fan boi 😂
