The aim of Systematic Theology is the knowledge of God. It's object, the revelation of God. Evangelism as with all the Ascension Ministries, are the same. Unless knowledge of God is inside a mind, then revelations of God cannot be enabled because the revelation of God must be applied to the correlating knowledge of God inside a mind. Most Christian's have no idea about this. If you have never heard of Kant and Hegel, then you probably know little about Evolution, Marxism, or Atheism, because they have their origins in Kant and Hegel. This is why the Church isn't the Church today. It brings knowledge about a personal experience rather than knowledge of God. We need Jesus because we're a dirty rotten sinner. We avoid the penalty of death, but this is merely the beginning. No man can stand and say that he has not sinned against God in the last hour. An honest man knows, that from the time he wakes up, to the time he goes to sleep at night, his propensity to sin, far outweighs his strong desire to do good. And so he prays without ceasing seeking the mercy grace and guidance of God. He is not interested in a better job or a better life, but in a God that can cancel out sin, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Lack of knowledge kills people, and not vaccines bombs or Atheist's. Teachers need to explain to their people, what or who is behind the words and terms they use to describe their faith. God is love, what is that, two different kinds of Apples? So God is Love doesn't give people sufficient information to consider a belief in God. Three distinct equal beings whose mutual reciprocal actions between themselves represents a unity of thought, will, and expression, God is and God is love. This give more information of the knowledge of God, and allows the Holy Spirit to bring the correlating revelation. Paul never had an elevated view of himself, because he knew what wickedness he had been saved from. Christian's need to repent and study to show themselves approved of God unto God a workmen that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Thinking, is the first act of worship, because Truth is God's gift. If anyone is to grasp reality, if anyone desire to know God, then their field of labour is their consciousness. We cannot know a doctrine of God unless we apprehend God's work, in the world. Their is no other way for us to arrive at concepts that shed light on the glory of God who transcends the world, except we apprehend God's work, in the world. Adolf Schlatter 1852-1938.
