Learn a scripture by memory and repeat it in your mind when intrusive thoughts come. Here's one that helped me with intrusive thoughts. You may find a different one that suits your situation. As always bring your requests to Jesus. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." Isaiah 43,2

I have been a born again Christian since I was 7 years old, I'm 64 now. I have been to Bible college for 3 years when in my 30's, but I have lived with learning disabilities all my life and have a difficult time getting into the word as I should. I know a lot of scriptures but chapter and verse don't stick and reading for long is hard and finding certain scriptures is extremely difficult. 😢

Tomorrow makes 5 years since my dad passed away and he loved me at 22 saying no matter what I do he’d always love me and be his baby girl and frantically I explained that to my pastor worried if he’s going to heaven…❤he hugged me saying that was a divine message and gave him something for Father’s Day 😢❤❤❤

My Father and mother passed in Feb of 2000. Time passes so quickly. What your Dad said was very sweet. I think he just wanted you to know how special you are and that nothing would ever change his love for you.

God is loving. So how I understand it is, just love everything to the best of your ability and by that very nature your will love and faith will become limitless. Just love Jesus and follow Jesus as much and we’ll be ok!!

Jesus tells us to watch though. I enjoy a lot of your stuff and learn from your lessons. Please don’t put us watchers into a box because i think everything that happens on the earth is relevant to eschatology. Without fear , loosing faith or gaining faith and when things don’t happen in the physical I don’t place it automatically into the spiritual. I’m sure there are people like you describe but a lot of believers aren’t like that. A lot of us are awestruck just to watch what the Lord does regarding end times profecy. Believe me when I tell you David that the lord is going to rapture his church real soon. Praying for you David

i feel God told me never to say there are different versions of Jesus even to make a point. Some may have some wrong idea about one thing but Jesus saves and if they love Jesus who saves and make a mistake about him never let us tell anyone that was not the real Jesus. If we make one mistake and say this is fake Jesus will confuse some new believers. I felt very convicted about this and that God wants my to share this message. No hard feelings. I know what you mean and I support your teachings.
