In this clip, I cover several signs someone may be a Co-Dependent Narcissist - that is, someone in the one-down position who adopts narcissistic personality traits or behaviors to compensate for core insecurities.
Because their core insecurities remain under the surface, the compensatory narcissist gets continually stuck in a vicious cycle - needing to find and win over emotionally unavailable partners who are conditional with their love, affection, approval, and connection.
This preview clip is from a longer series of seminar videos. For the full video, go here:

The title says it all... Don't even have to watch! I just recently (*in life) learned to understand and accept this (that some things are just what they are; not accepting, as in tolerating) Great of u for making a video on this!

So controversial as most professionals say that you can't be both a codependent and a narcissist. I've always thought I was both, but people will dispute me down that there's no such thing.

The term “codependent narcissism” is relatively new. I now prefer the term “compensatory narcissist” or “one-down narcissist.” These are narcissists offending from the one-down position. Much more has been written about “covert narcissism,” which is similar but not the same thing.
