In live action, Pat Buttram was known for being Gene Autry's sidekick in the 50s on THE GENE AUTRY SHOW, and Hooterville town shyster and charlatan Mr. Haney on GREEN ACRES in the 60s (which also starred Eva Gabor, who voiced Duchess in THE ARISTOCATS, and Miss Bianca in THE RESCUERS and THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER). Likewise, another common Disney voice in the 70s was George Lindsey (Trigger in ROBIN HOOD, Lafayette in THE ARISTOCATS, Rabbit in THE RESCUERS), who was best known as Goober on THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW in the 60s.

Napoleon: "Wait a minute, i'm the leader. I'm the one that says when we go, here we go... CHAAARGE!!!!" Chief: "Heh, he sure is making a big fuss over a little 'ol hurt leg." Sheriff: "He calls for mom and sucks his thumb and doesn't want to play, too late to be known as John the First he's sure to be known as John the Worst." Man i can't get enough of that distinctive Southern accent, his Disney roles in particular are my personal favorites. But wow it really is hard to believe he was still doing voice work well into the '90s up to just before his death. I actually saw that particular Rugrats episode as a kid and even then it was obvious by the voice just who was playing that station guy.
