Maybe you notice later in the video, but items that gain benefits from spaces in a specific direction (for example the left glove) still get that benefit if there's something in the space. If it requires empty spaces, the item will specify that.

It cost 2 energy to use and he only has 3 energy, in other words he would only be able to use it once a turn.

@@thegary5151 once per turn but it attacks twice. Meaning it is the same as using a 1 energy sword twice. Given most turns you arent using all 3 energy on attacks anyway the vorpal is miles better than a 1 energy weapon.

Jon, you can wear more that one helmet, it just needs to be at the top of a column so if you make spaces going down in a steps patter you can wear 5 helmets at once and 5 spiked helmets is fun XD

Use a "My First Wand", some mana stones, books, and cactus. The wand gives you regen by using mana. The mana stones start with mana and allow for mana to be replenished. The books regenerate mana (and do other things) at the cost of actions. The cactus gives you thorns every time you are hit. So long as they can't take you out in one turn you should end the battle near full HP every time and you never need to attack. I found this on my first game and easily beat the final boss. Way OP and rather undermines the synergistic nature of the inventory management system.

So Jon keeps using the free attacks from 2 weapons to give his sword +6 total. If I'm reading the mechanics correctly, couldn't he have used the sword 3 times to give each free weapon +9 for a total of +18 between the 2 of them? If it was limited to one boost per weapon then the better pattern would be sword for +3 to each free weapon, then use them to boost the sword, then finish with the sword for a total of +12. I think, anyway...

Also jon the vorpal blade was 100% a better sword. You were doing only slightly more damage with what you had because of the forge but the vorpal would close that gap easily from the 25% bonus damage.

Gloves etc stated spaces - not EMPTY spaces - so makes no difference whether anything in those spaces. You missed a trick to have multiple helms etc - when backpack is irregular shape you can position them on multiple rows as long as nothing above them - imagine the left side of pack one column wider on each row down & a helm on each of the left rows, each would qualify as being on the top row (of the particular column it is placed in) & each would have no other helm on same row. Works with gloves & boots too, so an irregular shaped backpack can manipulate the rules to your advantage.

You can shive the enemy on their turn as well! Shive works for EVERY TURN including the enemies turn

Inventory management and Jon.... I'm gonna totally use this syringer rifle and it's ammo soon. Lugs it around for 6 fucking months. Used it exactly once and it didn't work. Hauled that sucker around for almost 30 weeks. Dude had two different sniper rifles and two different "everyday" weapons he used once a month or so. Plus way too much ammo for all. Lugged them around for months. Ammo for them, too. Used his primary sniper rifle for 99.99% of his kills until he got the staggering combat rifle and then used that as his sniper weapon thereafter. At one point during FO4 YOLO he was carrying over 30 lbs of throwables and mines and never once picked up ammo as a cash equivalent until he got the SCAV! magazine in Nuka World. Jon routinely lugs around about 85% of his max carry weight in dedicated shit he never uses and complains about encumbrance. 18 pounds of meat and not a single fucking noodle cup. Razorgrain + dirty water. Does up both water and food at .5 weight. Fall off a log easy. Nope! Not going to watch this. Nope. I bow out. Not happening, I am too triggered. Jon is the worst at inventory mgmt. He carried a syringer rifle and the ammo for it for 30 episodes and used it once unsuccessfully. Nope! AARRGH! I cannot be a party to this travesty. I refuse! Fuck you! Not doing it! You can't make me! Not my monkeys, not my circus. As Haley from Paramore sez: I refuse, I refuse, I refuse!, I refuse! Going to listen to the band MGMT play Time To Pretend instead. Big, deep breaths. Hold. Release. Everything is calm.
