Day 85 of requesting _Age of Mythology_ (a full playthrough if possible) Today's book suggestion was something I couldn't pass up, _A Promise of Blood_ by Brian McClellan. It's a world with powder mages, just like this game... except instead of controlling bullets, these mages metabolize gunpowder to fuel their magic like if cocaine was explosive and let you move things with your mind. It's a setting full of military uprisings, revenge, families put to the sword, and politics.

It's not just a ricochet, you can do that "ricochet" off of thin air if you've hit two people's weak points in a row. It's just part of the game's attempts to give you ways to move around the world.

I hate to use the word pretentious, but this game is pretentious at hell. Not since Spec Ops have I seen a game be that far up it's own ass. And not being able to rebind controls so the aiming is separate from the movement killed it for me.
