The Lone Ranger Theme reaction to the shot cadence was classic! Looks like a fun drill. You guys are quick on appendix draw, you all look Jedi-influenced. At my level, 7 sec seems realistic to me with USPSA holster rig but probably not from appendix. Yes, my appendix is T1C Xiphos so I can't blame the holster! Always good to have things to work on.

Great vid gents. Is that an Archon Type B that was failing and subsequently thrown?
@ghostmountaingroup2 жыл бұрын
It was! I love that gun but it does consistently FTF on the last round of the mag. And it’s across all different mags so I have no idea what’s up with it.

That was pretty awesome I'm sure I could clean that just not in the required time. My new tier1 rig shipped today so hopefully will be able to try this next week. Would love to shoot with you guys one day love the content and we go to the same indoor range. Love Ready Gunner

I don’t know which video it was but Aaron mentioned the Kagwerks extended and raised slide release. I bought one right after I saw that video. Installed it 3 days ago. Took it to the range and that thing is a game changer! Thanks!

Did he just holster the beretta on single action at 12:38 (hammer cocked back). I thought they had a decocker for such things.

Was that the type b having issues? No go?
@ghostmountaingroup2 жыл бұрын
It was! I bought that one right when they first got released several years ago so maybe it’s a problem that has since been fixed, but I semi-consistently get a FTF on the last round of the mag across all different mags. Not sure what the issue is.

What kind of ammo are you guys using in these drills. All of your pistols seem to have little to no recoil.!?

standard 115gr 9mm, typically from HSL ammo, or whatever is the cheapest ammo we can find in stores.

T1C: Noticing more SRO usage... what's the consensus on speed vs reliability for carry? Worth the shift from RMR?
@robertjohnson97562 жыл бұрын
I'm looking at getting a sro theyre just now coming back in stock but they use the sane electronics as the rmr but with a bigger round window so the overall its not as durable as the rmr and trijicon says its not ment for duty use but jagerwerks sells a steel shroud to protect the glass from cracking if dropped
@ayjmedia2 жыл бұрын
SRO, bigger window faster dot acquisition. Durability risks are higher with a bigger window but it’s my favorite for concealed carry and training. If it was for duty use I’d probably go with RMR and Holosun. I’ve actually been thinking about getting a 507c for the bigger window.
@Tier1Concealed2 жыл бұрын
a lot of us prefer the SRO to the RMR for every day carry, and we've all had pretty good luck with them. but its just up to the end user and what they need in a dot.

one tip.. work through your malfunctions with purpose. Don't stop.. tap and rack as fast as you can and get back on target and the double feed, the same, get in there with purpose and clear it and get back in the fight. Just looking at your firearm and laughing is a big waste of a training opportunity.
