B-8 is the bulls eye standard. Try An aggregate. 10@25 ,20secs 10 @ 15 strong hand,20 secs 10@ 15 other strong hand 20 secs. 10@ 15 , 10 secs 5@ 15,10secs strong hand 5@15, 10 secs, other hand Total possible 500(10 per round) 480 or higher 479 or below- no go Its purely an accuracy test. I love the drills, this is different given what you usually do- have fun

B-8 drill at 25m with a red dot on a carbine. 20x shots: 5x standing, 5x kneeling, 5x sitting, and 5x prone. 1 minute to complete. 180/200 to pass for beginners, and 190/200 for advance shooters.

Another great video. So, in the holster biz, you guys and QVO are pretty close (my favorite is my MSP), BUT your videos are lot more entertaining, no script, just friends competing and having fun at the range like most of us enjoy 👍👍👍

Kyle Defoor has two different B8 Standards or “Hat Quals”. Do it in class, he gives you. A hat. Pistol is draw, 10 rds into the B8 at 25 yards in under 20 seconds. 90+ is a pass. Rifle is 100 yards. Start standing, go prone on the buzzer, 90+ in under 13 seconds.

I've taken classes with Larry and Ken. This is an 80s Delta Force pistol qual. It may seem easy for these guys, but 99% of gun owners can't shoot a 90 let alone the smokin' runs these guys have. Remember, most SOF guys are B/C class shooters, because they have to be good at about a bajillion things other than just pistol shooting.

😂 Enjoyed the video…we’re using the Bill Drill V2 in Security Team training. From the draw at 7yds, 1 shot for time, then 2 shots for time, then 3,4,5 shots. Any shot outside the 9 ring adds 1 second to your total time. Anything out side the 8 ring adds +3 secs. Total your string times for score. Under 11 secs is A+ ranking, 11-14 secs is B rating, 14-17 secs is C, 17-20 secs = D and 20+ is a fail.

Two versions of scoring, Vickers said all rounds in the black to pass, Hack has said 90+ as mentioned. The time standard should be tighter for proficient modern shooters with 9mm and RDS.

"Head Game" Drills. Agonizingly simple; it just requires TOTAL focus, every time you press the trigger. "Dot Torture" is another one. Mechanical offset becomes a thing with Optics shooting 50 perfect rds. Goal? Simply shoot a perfect score. Every time. "Become the Gun Aaron".

I don’t think you guys were doing your math right. If you miss the black circle it’s not down 1. It’s down 10. So if you miss the black circle and drop any more points you fail. But y’all are studs. That is a deceivingly hard drill. Especially trying to shoot it under 5 seconds. Bravo 👏

I've taken classes with Vickers and Hackathorn, and the two ways they score it is A) what they're doing is Vickers scoring, and B) all rounds in the black, each round out of the black is +1 second, 10 seconds total is goal.

I like The Test because it keeps me honest about my performance. I'll only shoot it once at the beginning of a training session. My goal is all rounds in the black (90 or better) in 8-seconds or less. It's not sexy, but it will let you know if your grip is crappy or if you're not tracking the dot properly through recoil.

I believe you might have the scoring a bit mixed up. The center ring is the 10 ring, and if it doesn't break that line it's a 9 not a 10. So not a 💯 score, still damn fine shooting though! 👍

Probably 25 yds. Haha! 😂😂 25 yds is pretty easy with a dot sight. Try the last iteration of the FBI qual. 25 yds, 8 rounds. 4 from the draw standin, then neal and shoot 4 more. They give you 20 seconds. Thats way too much time. Try that with an 8 inch target.
