Maol Chean dearg

This walk from Glen Carron takes in the single munro Maol Chean-dearg. The out/in route starts from the south at Coulags where a good track takes you to the top. A breezy day with 40-50mph wind on the summit made the last 300m tricky but fortunately the cloud cleared giving full views of the surround tops.

Great film C&M the views were great, But with 50mph winds at the top i would have stayed in the bothy LOL! And speaking of that bothy. You didnt see or hear anything spooky in the bothy did ye? Mick was there a few months ago and he had an uneasy feeling in the place. Take care you two, peter :)

Hi Charlie, you had a cracking day out for this one nice view`s, some size of Carin at the top as well as there were plenty stones all around, when you study some of them, they look to have been there for a very long time indeed, some been well built as well,

Hi James, There certainly no shortage of stones. This dramatic landscape is stunning and the camera never quite gabs the reality of the place. We're planning another visit soon so looking forward to a wonder in the path. Cheers, Charlie.
