I had the same issue and recently I realized that you can screw the threaded part from the bottom, problem solved, amazing mic!

Your computer will require a sound card. But all modern computers have them installed. Unless you have a PC from the 90’s.

It should be ok for streaming. The boom arm can be a bit creaky if you’re moving it a lot, but other than that I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

You don’t need an adapter. You may have to go into your setting and tell the computer to use the USB mic as the input. It should detect and use it automatically, but sometimes it doesn’t and you have to manually do it.

This one does not. But you can dial down the volume to mute the mic.

I do not believe that this mic will be good for recording if any type of music. You will want a high quality mic like a Sure or a Blue Yeti.

It does screw into the base, but not very securely. I would not trust it upside down. It may fall.
