Great demonstration. Your videos are excellent. I know enough about microphones, interfaces, and recording software to be pretty impressed with the advancements in USB mics in the past few years. Just a few years ago there were few options beyond the ubiquitous Blue Yetis and Snowballs, etc. and the AT-2020. Now there are more options and they sound nearly as good as most mics sound through XLR cable and audio interface, especially with the software you demonstrate here. It's really the Golden Age for content creators and podcasters. Enjoy it!

Do you like it better with or without the pop filter? It's so huge and not sure if the quality sounds different or not. Also, what are the best settings to you?

I like it better with the popfilter! I like it with a presence boost or the standard profile that comes with XLR :)

@@floriangladis Too bad it's so huge and ugly. I've never seen a bigger pop filter. Have you replaced yours at all with a better one? And what settings would you recommend with the USB version? And do you mess with any of the advanced settings in the software or only toggle on presence boost? Like compressor or limiter and so on? Sorry I just got one and I am trying to find the best settings for it.

I guess he doesn't really know how to adjust those sliders. There are videos talking about compressors and limiters in studio recordings. Just look for them here.

Mines not detecting my device, I've tried everything. I'm trying to also solve the problem of it only coming out of one ear (Left Ear). PS. I am using the AM200 Series.

@@floriangladis Apparently it doesn’t work with the software but I fixed the one ear problem it was just my cord.

I had an issue where the PD400x was not recognized using the included USB cable...but works fine with another cable I had lying around. Not a big issue since I need to get a longer cable anyway.

i feel too much the plosives in the video:( you can talk with the mic at side pointing to your mouth to get rid of this.
