Hi. I have never seen anyone on KZbin that has mentioned what option you have to choose (line in, mic, speaker, headset, headphone) when you connect the Maono to the Laptop. I intend to use youtube played on the laptop as a background music during live stream. So which best option should i pick when prompted? Thanks

When you play music from your laptop, just turn on loop back so your background music can heard on your streaming or recording.

If you are using an iPhone with lightning adapter, most likely it’s the lightning adapter issue. If you’re using the wrong one (headphone adapter only), you will only hear it but will not record. To check if you have the right adapter for Recording, please check this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/f320lIWcn5uUl7s I got my adapter from Apple Store, if not get the adapter that’s supports calling.

If background music is from a phone, tablet, iPad, etc. you can turn the Music volume up from the Maonocaster lite or volume from the source itself

Also the REC volume has to be on high coz that’s your audio output level- that’s volume how loud your viewers will hear your voice and music.

I have tested it just now. Yes you will be able to hear the music if it is connected thru the pod 1,2 or 3 but it will not be recorded. This set up would for karaoke and not for streaming or recording.

Loop back matters if the music is coming from your laptop - same laptop you’re using for streaming. You should turn it on for your listener/viewers to hear the music you’re playing. Also make sure naka off ang side chain coz of it’s on, when you talk bababa ang volume ng music mo at tataas lang kapag magstop ka sa pagsalita. Okay can’t go live on Tiktok ksi dpo ako active don at need 1000 followers.

Hello, good morning, thank you for this review. Id like to use this for Zoom. My problem is the participants couldn't hear the effects. Tried recording the zoom meetings and somehow the audio is not as I hear it, there's some difference. And sometimes same settings come out differently. Any tips? Thank you in advance. Btw, for zoom is this better than the A2 sound card?

I think audio output would be the same with A2. It’s just about the setting on your Maonocaster. God willing I will make a video on Maonocaster for Zoom set up in the near future. By the way, were you using a laptop or cellphone for Zoom as setting would be different.

I didn’t used an external speaker in this video. I used an earphone to monitor the audio. I sync/combined the audio from the live streaming on this video and that’s what you’re listening too.

@@geeneingermanyvlog6176 Marami po kasing klasing set up sa streaming. Kung sa laptop magstream at sa laptop rin manggagaling background music- itong video po nato ang set dyan. Pero kung gusto nyo po na ang background music manggagaling sa phone or ipad pwede po pero may mga functions po sa maono na maiiba. Kung sa phone naman magstream tapos sa laptop ang music, ibang set up rin po yon.

Actually you can use a usb pro microphone plugged into your laptop. No need to insert into mike jack on Maono. i inserted my USB yeti studio into my laptop with usb, and set sound settings to Yeti, and speakers to the speakers out jackplug on the Maono, and i can record with the mic, speakers on butt no reverb or feedback, and do not need a minijack crap condenser microphone. A yeti studio caan be connected rom the laptop usb connection in sound settings. You do not need to put speaker settings in windows on to the maono, you can choose other speakers, the microphone records regardless, and the playblack plays regardless. Also Yeti microphones have a headphone jack which you can also use for a Microphone line in, but it will pick up background noise so do not recommend. the recording volume on Blue Yeti USB microphone is far superior.

@@jenuds Thanks for the compliment (even though i consider myself a jack of all trades and master of none).. I actually just found out desperately trying! as when the Maono arrived i realised i didn't have a microphone to insert direct and was frustrated! So went into pc settings sound devices and changed defaults, i wanted to try autotune to sing with in Logic ProX and Studio One 5 Pro.. it worked. Autotune plugin is expensive, and for my purposes, this seemed enough, as i can sing a little bit, and the autotune is useful to give some certain vocal effects. Plus the live multi-streaming functionality (which is the true purpose of this device), is of course the main attraction to most buyers. For me i use for both live streams, and for making music.

I presumed your playing you tube song from your laptop then live on sambroadcaster. You have to turn on Loop back so your listeners will hear the music you’re playing from your laptop.

Thank you. For PC in this video please hover to 1:50 and the setting is there. If you are using a MacBook and would like to use it as the source of music - connect music input from maono to headphone port of macbook then go to setting of macbook-under sound- output- select headphone. Then you connect a headphone or or headset or speaker from from maono to listen. Setting could be different if you want to ise it for something else.

Kung gumagamit po kayo ng adapter like lightning adapter, baka ito po ang issue kasi kapag d original or from apple, make sure po na d lang pangheadphone coz you can only hear it but won’t record. So gamitin nyo po ang lightning adapter na may calling feature. Kung android naman po make sure nasaksak ng mabuti, you may try to remove the cover or casing of your device. Good willing I’ll make a video in this po.

As per experience ang loop back pang live stream lang. Kapag loop back is on maririnig ang background musc from the laptop ng mga viewers at kapag nakaoff kayo lang po makakarinig.
