Honestly this are like the first good map changes we got, other maps that got changed are now the worst maps in game and getting removed or blocked (To be fair an abandoned factory rework - the old one - was a good one as well)

@@_Addi_ Since TEC mentioned BeamNG drive in Beam NG, the bus deforms more like an accordion rather than becoming a tooth paste. So I vehicle a better beam mesh could solve a lot of vehicle husk goofiness

Just a reminder Crysis released in 2007 Battlefield 3 in 2011 War Thunder still doesn't look close to BF3

@@kajmak64bit76 warthunder is also a much bigger game than both another thing to note is the only reason those games look better is because of atmosphere and lighting, which the devs were going for clearly, when you get in close, the texture quality will look the same as any other game from that time

@@kajmak64bit76BF3 couldn’t even get the basic shape of the abrams correct lol. I wouldn’t bring them up as a metric. Especially since the prototype of War Thunder came out in 2009 only 2 years after. I have my gripes but BF3 isn’t peak graphics, fidelity, or accuracy.

So for Finland you could shoot at the enemy spawn from B4-5 on the other side of the map, happened to me many times.

In my experiences getting ID'd and shot through 3 entire forests, behind multiple walls, some bushes, and multiple cars... 90% of players don't care about the new graphics, and won't even think about leaving their ULQ scrub ways.

Is just me or Gaijin afraid terrain or something. Most of the new map don't have much drivable terrain and they always chisel down the terrain when remake the old one.

Bro the cars are so bad. And debris despawn instantly. The cars breaking and leaving behind the bump of a smashed object throughout the whole match was better. Same with the branches falling off is cool, but just falling through the ground looks so bad.

For that desert map, I’m ok keeping players from spawn camping from that sniper spot, but I would have liked for them to still allow you to get to the lower portion of that spot. You could still be killed there and ya it’s a very competitive spot but taking away the ability to hit the spawn from there would have made it much less toxic. So it’s a bitter sweet change for me.
