If Gaijin are going to have absurd mechanics like shell-shatter and crazy RNG nonsense which makes the sheet-metal fenders on a tank suddenly become impervious to APFSDS, then the least they can do regarding APCBC and APHE shells is introduce a failure to fuse mechanic. This would basically simulate the very common IRL occurrence of the blasting charge failing to go off, turning your shell into an inert, regular AP round. Ironically it was dud APCBC rounds that tended to shatter in combat and not solid shot or APDS rounds. It seems strange for a developer that prides itself on the accuracy and realism of the vehicles and weapons it puts into its game, for it to then obtusely insist that a notoriously unreliable type of shell should suddenly work perfectly in game, every time. Now some might be cynical and point to the fact that the big 3 factions in game (the ones people want to play the most) were all users of AP rounds that used some sort of blasting charge historically, but I'm perfectly willing to give Gaijin the benefit of the doubt over this...

I can tell you, they focus on putting minimum effort for maximum money. Not taking any risk in new modes or balaning to much, keep the grind and mind manipulation as it is, as thats proven to give them 20mio every year with obly like 3 devs actually doing smt

but there are also vehicles that have basically just a few shells and it would be nice to have more ways to replenish it so you can enjoy them.

If they add them they would likely be in or near spawn. How many times have you run out of ammo and had no caps wishing you could just go back and top up. I know I have done this many times.

That would render a quarter of all tech trees useless (SPAA branch) “SPAA is useless” Well ok you’ll lose the beloved Italian pizza truck with a gun on it. I don’t want to lose the Italian pizza truck. Completely removing CAS is not the right option, making it cost like twice as much SP however would definitely save me a few brain cells (but yet again, fewer planes, making SPAA more useless then it already is)

@@sherifaljeddawy2467 the F-4C was added nearly 5 years ago now, and Russia only had to wait 3 months to get the MiG-21SMT. I could say the same thing in regards to the R-60M or R-73, flareless planes firing 30G and/or IRCCM missiles isn’t unique to non-US teams. Both AIM-54s have only a 17G overload and are missing their Mach 5 top speed, they are not remotely close to OP.

It shouldn't have a fuse delay at all. They replace the proximity sensor with a steel cap and it should act more like semi armor piercing high explosive because it penetrates structures and then explodes in the walls

they could add something like air drops on single cap maps with ammo or other modifiers, making people migrate on these bigger maps where most of it is unused with 1 cap.
