So why is it called the hellcat is this what the hellcats come with for a pump in aftermarket translation? The reason I ask is I have a 16 hellcat challenger and as of now I dont need any crazy fuel pressure it's mostly stock on pump I just need a plug and play type kit that can be used for daily on pump and later on e85 and support 800 850hp just dont want this thing fucking up lines and other crap because its giving to much pressure. Also if I do this does it need a tune or will it except the old computer data and run fine after install. Pumps going out. Also if you have a pump that works was thinking the 525 but if you have reasons not to get it or if it needs special fittings please let me know.

@@maperformance So I know this may sound stupid, but I just get anxiety around stuff like this because it costs money. I was moving my car parts for my upgrade into storage since I wont be upgrading for around 6 months, and I dropped my Walbro 255 fuel pump from about 2 meters high. It was in a box but no padding etc, and I am scared I have damaged it. It looks fine but some research shows that dropping them can cause them to become inoperable. Worried I am going to have to buy a new one.

Great video! I currently have the 450 high pressure with a stm hard wire kit on my DSM. And made 480 hp. Currently trying to decide if I should upgrade to the 525 or just do a in line pump to compensate. Since I ran out of injector on the dyno the new 2150cc injectors will be going in. Pump gas car currently, might go e85 🤷🏽‍♂️

Most likely because of restriction. When you put the pump in a very small space it takes a lot to get the fuel into itself. So to do this is ramps up the speed to achieve the same intake of gas it usually does which causes it to over spin. Increased wear then failure is likely.

It doesn't causes shortage by E85??As if when you actually spliced the power and also spliced ground in an intake with regular butt connector. Am nervous as doing regular butt connector and planning on use E85.Didnt use heat shrink either. Kinda nervous !

Heat it up with a heat gun and gently start pulling. Same way when installing if you want to use the same tube.

If the wires on a walbro 255 are accidentally connected backwards, can the pump still effectively operate in reverse polarity. I plan on fixing this but I’m letting the fuel get low again to remove the pump also the car is fully built stock turbo 04 srt 4 . Currently on 4 lbs boost for break in period then going to 20 psi. Question of curiosity thanks

@@freddiemendoza4188 thanks for your input. You are correct it wouldn’t start as the pump was flowing in the opposite direction. I took the wires at the connector on the car side and switched positive and negative to make the pump flow to the engine and it works . Was curious if this would affect the performance in any way. Sry it’s complicated to explain but thank you sir .
