unfortunately yesterday on the dyno i had a fuel pressure drop under load. so i decided to upgrade my pump to a 525lph custom wiring and bigger fuel lines i hope it solves this sudden fuel starvation , thanks for the inspiring video

My original pump is dead 95L/H and i gonne upgrade my engine from 156HP to 200HP turbo gas car, my system running on the low pressure side 5 bar, can i use a 340L/H 3 bar pump?? Becuse the 3 bar? My hpfp needs 5bar?

Does the 267 have check valves. I have the lethal fuel system with duel 267 pumps and on cold start I have to prime the system or the car will just crank and crank before starting.
@mgrotel3 жыл бұрын
That 267 will drop fuel pressure well before the advertised 87psi!
@LoneWolfSnowplowing2 ай бұрын
No it doesn't, it because you don't understand how it works. Where your pressure sensor/gauge is, is entirely different than the pressure at the relief. You need to take into account plumbing and filter etc. 87 at the relief can be 65 at the sensor/gauge for example.

I currently have a 2018 Mustang GT perf. pack car.. I am going to be approaching 600 crank here with my next set of mods after they go on.. I do not have a tune and I do not want to "charge" the car or run E85.. usability and FAFO is magnetized by 2x doing that IMO.. I'd like to get as much power as I can on pump gas with maybe a tune.. am I going to need to consider running dual pumps or can I get away with one?? I currently have about 505 crank and I am putting on long tubes.. MGW gearbox.. and I am adding performance coils as well.. that should put me around 550-560 roughly.. I already have a 3 inch straight pipe.. corsa closed box intake.. corsa catch can.. mcleod 800.. brake lines.. etc... (stage 1 calimer mt82 is on the horizon as well).. I am thinking of ordering an inline fuel pump from AEM just to have peace of mind in the meantime.. however my next stage of mods after headers coils and sparks go on will be an intake manifold.. 47 pound injectors.. and rails.. I know I would need a pump at that point I am just trying to prep at the moment for when I order those items later on.. when the manifold and rails an injectors go on I am assuming I will prob be at 600 crank HP on pump gas and need a tune and I am assuming dual 340 pumps??? need some guidance and input thanks!

what lph would you recomend for lift pump to a single pump surge tank thinking 370-400lph in the surge. 13b bpt

I watched this to see what HP rating you gave the single 340lph pump
@Lethalcamp3 жыл бұрын
Depending on the application in a return style configuration on gasoline I'd say they're good for about 450-500rwhp.

I have a dual 255 with LP budget fuel system.. at what rwhp should I expect it to max out ?
@Lethalcamp4 жыл бұрын
We rate the budget system with those pumps on gasoline at about 700rwhp give or take a few. This is with 60lb injectors. With 80's we believe 750rwhp on gasoline is a pretty solid rating. If you plan on making more than that or want to run E85 you'll want the Budget Plus system or the full return system with rails and larger pumps. Let us know if you have any other questions.

I'm replacing my gas tank, because I hit a pothole to hard. Trying to switch from an intank fuel pump to an inline. What kind of pump should I be looking at for a car making under 200 hp??

Hi have a question for anyone reading this if you install a lower flowing fuel pump than stock like 155 lph vs stock being 255 lph, will it make car run lean and feel underpowered??
@joeb.86257 ай бұрын
Questions, 2014 gt500 850whp on stock pumps with kb boosta pump and ID 800s e85. If I switched to the 2 285s and ID 1000s would I still need the boosta pump on 100% e85?
@Lethalcamp7 ай бұрын
This is something we definitely recommend you consult with whoever is tuning your car. Each tuner may have specific recommendations over another. From my experience most tuners on the 13-14 GT500 platform will always recommend a full return style system to support E85 on it. However again that's something we recommend you consult with your tuner on.
@joeb.86257 ай бұрын
@@Lethalcamp I already have a 100% e85 tune so making it better with robust parts like bigger injectors and pumps that flow more should suffice. Never mind I think I answered my own question. Thanks

I bought walbro s fuel pump and the those pumps damage quickly dont las at all
@Lethalcamp2 жыл бұрын
We've been running Walbros in all of our project cars over the years and haven't had a single failure yet. We sell a ton of them too and the failure rate is minimal. Nothing is invincible and failure with aftermarket parts isn't uncommon but Walbro has a solid product in my opinion which is why we always choose them over the others for our cars.

Be careful where you buy them some of them they’re replicas. Before you buy them make sure they are original.
