That was a planned play and it wasn't soft. Pasta was tearing up the wing and Lindholm drilled it off the boards for him to pick up and he finished perfectly with very little space.

they figured out how to play, playoff hockey in the middle of a playoff hockey series. Interesting take, I would mention the team needs to fight, show the opposing team you're hear to stay [really mark their territory so-to-speak], everyone thought Game 5 was a galvanizing win [as did I] - and they clearly have "fight/guts" but from my perspective something is still missing. emotion always has an impact positive or negative. they need to learn to use every angle of impact in each game, and by all means necessary, but I don't see that type of sacrifice in the Toronto Maple Leafs current roster. Just my take.

One thing that was bad was the PP. 1-25! I’m pretty sure if the PP was like the Bruins the series easily could’ve been 3-1 Toronto.

I've been saying that about Marner for 5 yrs. Not a Playoff performer!!! I would've let Marner walk and signed Hyman. Marner is scared child in the playoffs. Reliving should offer him 8.5 million which is what he's worth. If he doesn't like it, let him walk, take the loss of no return player. Use the 11 mill on a goalie and D man. Keep in mind w have Mcmann, Minton and kid in London (sorry can't remember his name) to look forward to. Seems though, that the only goal scorers we in tough situations in Knies and Willy

I’m a diehard Bruins fan and I gotta say good series to Toronto. I know I’m on the outside looking in but I’m 25 minutes in and I’m honestly surprised by some of Rosehill’s comments. He has the stones to sit there and say Toronto is so very close to running the East..I would slow your role brah. I 🫡 Toronto for not folding and battling under tough conditions but I’m sorry, in my opinion that 2 game comeback was about Boston just simply playing awful hockey. We smelled so bad in Games 5 and 6 and it still took overtime in Game 5 and 2 late goals in Game 6 to beat us. I felt like Toronto was still trying to hand the game to Boston in both those games but we sucked so bad and couldn’t do anything. Again, good on Toronto for making it a series but nothing they did in Games 5 and 6 made me nervous. I was more nervous about the Bruins finding their game than what Toronto was doing. I will say Swayman was a monster between the pipes. He always looks cool and calm and he was tremendous the whole series!! Bruins vs Maple Leafs is always a nail biter in the playoffs. Good series guys. LETS GO BRUINS!!!! BRUINS NATION!!!!

Leafs’ fans are too emotionally invested to see things clearly. Their distorted lens affects their ability to recognize this: no Stanley Cup champion has ever been built like the Leafs, EVER. History shows us that by loading up of forwards, while ignoring depth, defence and goaltending has NEVER worked!! Until Leafs’ fans come to terms with this, then they will continue to be disappointed.

Telling at the trade deadline, the Leafs never seem to be players for the big deals. Could be they have no assets to deal. Could be too much money tied up in the top forwards. They never go all in. Goaltending was a crap shoot all year. No A game until they were down 3-1. Injuries. Leafs fan for life here, but feeling all day like they are the Stanley Cup Champions of losing. Sigh..
