Those 400 GPD Membranes are a Beast! I also like your double barrel idea, that's a lot less to move around and store in the barn! Boil On!

Still figuring out how to use this system effectively. I also been using my floor drain to get rid of some of the water instead of carrying outside. I have to figure out how to work smarter and not harder

Great setup on the evaporator, love it! New sub as of now 😊 Interested in the RO method, have to look into it.

Hey Joe! Always good to see your syrup vlogs. Bump up to 3/8 line for at least the feed and permeate out on those membranes (keep 1/4 on the concentrate out if you wish), I'd bet they are underserved and could take more flow/give you better GPH out based on what I've seen in my build. Skipped the first run this year, but looking to tap this weekend in VT and ramp up for the coming weeks. Have a good season!

Thank you for the tip. The pump has the 1/4 elbow the pulls out for the 3/8 line. I’m going to figure cost. I’m sure they won’t be much. I will need a 3/8 garden hose adapter and 2 for my filter. Thanks

Glad to see you boiling! I tapped 48 trees this year. All yard trees in NW Ohio I am only collecting 12-15 gallons a day. I am not sure what’s going on

This sounds frustrating, so many variables decide when sap flows it’s hard to pinpoint issues. I’m sure they will all let loose on you soon

The season is early this year...in the past, when the season is early, sap flow is slower...my expierence.
